This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Last month, North Korea's navy accused South Korea of sending warships across the maritime border to stir up tensions and warned that such actions could trigger armed clashes.

North and South Korea fought two deadly naval battles in the Yellow Sea in the past decade.

I wonder what the hidden object was, perhaps a submarine? It seems as though both boats would have seen an unidentified object in the same proximity of waters. But I am not an expert, and I am sure that the peoples involved will not await confirmation of US President aproval in atack if needed again. But I do agree if things can be solved without guns, bombs,or battle, we would all be the better for it.

That would be nice, StarSmiles, but major ideological differences, as well as a continuing state of war, between the ROK and DPRK will remain a violent point of contention.

I know, sadly it seems as though they will never agree. In situation as with these two ships, fear of death will fire first. United in thought is agreed debate will lead, individually strife in life prevails, When it comes to firing a first shot, I do consider the ordering command individual, debate is forgotten.

Beggin' your pardon, Star, but that wasn't too awfully clear. Fear of death really has nothing to do with who fires the first shot. In military situations, it is the commander on the spot who makes the decision to fire, no debate involved. The situation in Korea is more complex than you know.
