Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

After reading the title and quoted paragraph, I started looking for the satire tag or the link to be to the Onion... hilariously, I found neither.

My ex-wife was from the Philippines her family had no love for the MLF as they murdered two of her cousin,s who where in the army. But there again she was supposed to have a distant relative in the NPA.There's is one thing I found whilst out there, there's no love between either side in Mindanao.

Wouldn't Christian Science Monitor be an oxymoron?

The Christian Science Monitor was founded by the woman who founded the Church of Christian Science.

The Church of Christian Science is the one you occasionally read about in the news when the parents of some cancer-stricken child are taken to court because they don't believe in the medicine that could save the kid's life. They believe that if you pray hard enough, God will cure you of leukemia or regrow that leg for you.

While I don't agree with their religion, their journalism is actually very good.

It's a shame that's another newspaper whose printed version is going the way of the dinosaur leaving only an online remnant.

"The MILF is a mass-based organization with an objective, and it won't commit an act that would tarnish its reputation. In fact, the MILF always wants to project a good image not only within the Philippines but also in the entire world," Jaafar said.

Good Lord, do you think we should tell this organization that a name change might be a good idea. A MILF with a good reputation sounds like a great idea, though.

Actually a MILF with a good reputation gave him a full release. At least it was a happy ending.

Why does it not surprise me that there is, in fact, a website called fullreleasemilf.com? But it's just a blog page that no one ever put any content in.
